March 8 Celebrated at Nech Sar National Park

EWCA Staff celebrated March 8, International Women’s Day at Nech Sar National Park. The event was organized by Gender Affairs Directorate and 42 members of EWCA head office staff together with Nech Sar Personnel have participated
The programme had been opened with a speech by W/ro Elfinesh Woldeyes on behalf of the Director General of EWCA. Following that 4 speakers/ presenters have briefed participants on various issues related to the event. Participants also conducted a tour of the park as a visit guided by scouts and experts of the park.
Officials from the Gamo Gofa Zone Administration, Arba Minch Town Administration, Gender Affairs Offices of Gamo Gofa Zone, Arba Minch Town and surrounding woreda, representative of gender affairs from Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other invited guests also attended the event.
Arba Minch Senior Secondary and Preparatory school members of Environmental club performed a short drama on the importance of conserving natural resources.
